Manchester port hopes to replace both south and north docks

MANCHESTER — Port of Manchester commissioners are zeroing in on a company to replace the town’s deteriorating south dock, prescription but no final decision came out of a study session Monday with members of the Port Advisory Committee and the public.

At the meeting, clinic Commissioner Jim Strode pitched the idea of replacing the north dock as well, which would require tapping the port’s reserve fund.
