VICTORIA – BC Ferries announced today that spa services will soon be available on the Tsawwassen – Swartz Bay route starting mid-May.

BC Ferries is partnering with “C Spa” to enable passengers to treat themselves to a little pampering while travelling on the Spirit of British Columbia and the Spirit of Vancouver Island.

Vacationers can indulge in a manicure or pedicure as they start a holiday. Weary business travellers are able to relax with a neck massage on their way home from a meeting.

“We constantly try to provide new and innovative services on board our ships to appeal to a broad range of customers,” said Geoff Dickson, BC Ferries’ Vice President of Catering and Retail Operations. “We are testing the new spa services and we are looking forward to seeing how our customers respond.”

C Spa services will be offered Thursday through Monday on the 7 am, 9am, 11am and 1pm sailings from both Tsawwassen and Swartz Bay. The spa services will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be provided in staterooms on Deck 6, the upper passenger deck.

The cost of the services, exclusive of tax, is as follows:
Manicure $30 French Manicure $35
Pedicure $40 French Pedicure $45
15-minute chair massage $20 C-Mani-Pedi $65

Representatives from C Spa will be stationed at the tour operator’s desk on Deck 5, the main passenger deck, at the beginning of the select sailings. For further information, visit www.c-spa.ca.

My wife visited C Spa a few weeks ago and had a marvelous time. She’s already bugging me to go back next month!
