Kimberly Jacobson has this story in the Anacortes American:
MJB Properties can move ahead with a planned boat ramp and floating pier south of Anacortes Marina on Fidalgo Bay after getting the OK from the Anacortes Planning Commission last week.
The commission approved a shoreline substantial development permit at its April 14 meeting.
MJB plans to build a 350-foot long by 14-foot wide floating pier to provide temporary moorage for about 14 boats in the 2600 block of T Avenue. The proposal also includes a new commercial boat ramp and a portable building along with associated parking and landscaping.
