Regular readers of our sister blog, Navagear.com, know that I adore the Pacific Marine Expo; I’ve written about it here, here, and here. It’s not a boat show; it’s a trade show for maritime professionals. But even a plain old recreational boater like me will find lots of interesting people and things at this show.
Anyhoo, here’s the latest from the folks at the Pacific Marine Expo:
The Pacific Marine Expo is right around the corner!
The show is only a couple days away. Below are some helpful tips abouttravel, parking, shuttles and badge pick-up to make your trip as easy as possible. For additional information remember thatwww.pacificmarineexpo.com is your best source for show updates.
GETTING THERE
If you are using a GPS navigation system here are the physical addresses you’ll need.
Directly to the show:

General Driving Directions to Qwest Field Event Center:
Due to construction occurring near the Qwest Field Event Center and rerouting of traffic during the show, please review the revised directions to the North Lot and Qwest Field Event Center Garage:
From I-5, and I-90 take the 4th Avenue South exit. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto 4th Avenue S. Take the next left onto S. Jackson. Take the next left onto 2nd Ave. S. Go straight ahead to the North Lot or for the Qwest Field Garage turn right to Occidental. At Occidental turn left to Royal Brougham. At Royal Brougham turn left and follow the signs to the Qwest Field Garage.
From Hwy 99/Aurora Avenue southbound, take the 1st Avenue South exit (exits from the left lane). Turn left onto S. Royal Brougham Way and follow the signs to the Qwest Field Garage or for the North Lot turn left onto Occidental Ave. S. At the stop sign at the end of Occidental Ave., take a right on to S. King St. The North Lot is on your right at the next stop sign.
From West Seattle, take the 1st Avenue South exit. Turn left onto 1st Ave S. turn right onto S. Royal Brougham Way and take an immediate left onto Occidental Ave. S. At the stop sign at the end of Occidental Ave., take a right on to S. King St. The North Lot is on your right at the next stop sign.

SHUTTLES
Show Management will provide a complimentary shuttle to all attendees and exhibitors to and from all of our designated hotels, Fishermen’s Terminal and the Qwest Field Event Center during the show. All shuttles will drop off and pick up on Occidental Ave S at Qwest Field Event Center.

PARKING
Qwest Field and Qwest Field Event Center
Parking will be available at Qwest Field and Qwest Field Event Center for $10.00 per car per day (no in and out) for all attendees and exhibitors. Be sure to identify yourself as a participant in Pacific Marine Expo to secure the rate.
There are three parking lots managed by International Parking Management (IPM): the North Lot, Qwest Field Event Center Garage, and Union Station Garage. The entrances to these three garages are as follows:
- Qwest Field Event Center Parking Garage: Royal Brougham Way South, across from Safeco Field.
- North Lot: 2nd Ave. South and South King Street
- Union Station: 4th Ave. South across from the Weller Street Pedestrian Bridge
Parking and shuttle pick-up at Fishermen’s Terminal is located near Chinook’s Lot North of the West Wall Building.

GETTING YOUR BADGE
As a pre-registered attendee you should have received a registration confirmation by email or fax. Bring this confirmation to the "Pre-Registration Badge Pick Up" kiosks located on the concourse level to have your badge printed. If you have misplaced your registration confirmation go to the "Pre-Registration Corrections & Look Up" counter and a customer service representative will locate your registration and print your badge for you. You may also call our visitor hotline in advance of the show at 800-454-3005 and request that your confirmation be resent to you.
Registration is open for badge pick-up during the following hours:
Thursday, November 19, 7:00 am – 4:30 pm
Friday, November 20, 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
Saturday, November 21, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
