Good to go: Merchant Mariner Credential arrives in 24 days

by Tim Flanagan on July 20, 2009

My Merchant Mariner Credential arrived on July 13, just 24 days after I submitted all my materials at the USCG Examination Center in Seattle.

Now I’ve got my TWIC and my MMC, so I’m good to go!

Which is a good thing, because I spent last week actually working aboard a boat, for actual wages. Hey, I think that makes me a professional mariner!

How much was the total fees for the Merchant Mariners’ Credential? I know how much the TWIC is gonna cost, but how much is the MMC now?
