If you haven’t been down to the Alki Point Lighthouse recently, you’re in for a delightful surprise: You can go inside!

The lighthouse, owned and operated by the United States Coast Guard, is open to the public on weekends through August 30 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, when it is staffed by volunteers from the Coast Guard Auxiliary’s Flotilla 24.
So stop by, bring your out-of-town guests, and learn a little bit about our region’s rich maritime heritage!
