First in a series of forums on issues affecting the Whidbey Basin.
The Clinton Progressive Association in collaboration with Puget Sound Partnership, People For Puget Sound, and the Institute for Children’s Environmental Health presents a one-day forum focusing on education and action around key environmental issues affecting Puget Sound and of particular concern to the South Whidbey area.
Location: the Clinton Community Hall
Hwy 525 and Humphrey Rd.
Topics will include:
- Working with your land – not against it: addressing clean water and growth
- Bringing together human and salmon needs at the shoreline’s edge
Managing human waste and oxygen for fish - Turning the tide on toxics: the connection between humans and Puget Sound

Registration includes four sessions plus morning coffee, lunch with chef Sheila Sebree preparing a specialty dish with fresh, local, organic ingredients, as well as an afternoon reception.
