The Seattle Times has this brief item:
A contractor was able to recover almost all the diesel fuel in the tanks of a tugboat that sank near the north end of Lake Washington Saturday afternoon, the Coast Guard says.
About 25 or 30 gallons were released into the lake when the tug Sea Prince sank, Lt. Ron Owens said. The boat was refloated about 11 p.m. Saturday and 1,500 gallons of fuel recovered, he said.
The spill had no observable impact on fish or wildlife, said Dan Partridge, a spokesman for the state Department of Ecology.
The tug was operated by Lakeshore Marine Construction. The sinking’s cause has not yet been determined.
