Mark Yuasa of the Seattle Times has been kind enough to type up the 2009-10 salmon fishing seasons. He also added some comments on his Reel Time blog:
So it took some time this afternoon, but I enjoy typing in the saltwater salmon seasons for Washington, and I’m sure many anglers out there can now start planning their summer and fall vacations.
I’ve got the coast at Westport pinpointed on my “to do list” as far as coho and king fishing goes, and of course I will take some time off during the Puget Sound marked-selective hatchery chinook season, grab the boys and hit the pink fishery off the Shipwreck in August, and wake up at 2 a.m. to hit the Elliott Bay chinook fishery.
You can view the salmon fishing seasons here. Start marking your calendar down now too for what is expected to be a blissful season of salmon fishing…
